Ceclor CD
Prescription.
Bacterial infections caused by organisms susceptible to the drug:
– infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract infections;
– urinary tract infections;
– infections of skin and soft tissues;
– otitis;
– osteomyelitis;
– endometritis;
– gonorrhea.
Dosage.
Set individually, taking into account the severity and location of infection, the sensitivity of the pathogen. Adult drug prescribed to 0.25 g 3 times a day. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 4.0g/day.
For children prescribe Ceclor CD antibiotic in a daily dose of 20 mg / kg of body weight multiplicity – 3 times a day.
The maximum daily dose – 40 mg / kg. For young children it is desirable to prescribe an antibiotic as a suspension.
The average duration of treatment 7-10 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS.
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
Application of the substance cefaclor
Infectious diseases caused by susceptible pathogens – infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, upper respiratory tract (including otitis media), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues.
Restrictions on the use
Severe allergic diseases, bronchial asthma, a history of chronic renal failure, leukopenia, hemorrhagic syndrome, pregnancy, lactation, infancy (up to 1 month).
Overdose
Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Treatment: activated charcoal to reduce the absorption of the Ceclor CD antibiotic from the gastrointestinal tract, providing adequate ventilation and perfusion, control and maintenance of the gas content of blood, serum electrolytes.
